Deburring Flashholes?
Deburring Flashholes?
What tool are you guys using? I have an old Lyman tool that works great on my bigger stuff but the shaft measures .215 and won't fit down into the mouth of the 204 and I haven't seen any listed from Midsouth etc.

Re: Deburring Flashholes?
I ordered the KM Precision Shooting Products flash hole uniformer. They make it for .20 caliber and it works great. Very precise and you can feel it doing its job on new cartridge cases. I understand that once a case is done it's done for life. Happy shooting

Re: Deburring Flashholes?
We manufacture a 20 caliber flash hole debur tool. Many of the members of this forum have purchased one so I am sure they will provide some feedback. Our tool is machined from Stainless steel and built to last a lifetime. Here is a link to the info on our website: http://www.customreloadingtools.com/crt_013.htm

Re: Deburring Flashholes?
Brad makes a great flash hole deburring tool. Sharp and well designed. Indexes off the web instead of the mouth. That makes sure you get a uniform cut.

Re: Deburring Flashholes?
I use Brad's (customreloadingtools) flashhole tool and I really like it. It's the best I have used and does a great job. I recommend you order one from him.
It's hard to detect good luck, It looks so much like something you've worked hard for and earned.

Re: Deburring Flashholes?
There are only two decent tools that register off the case web and NOT the case mouth, K&M and CRT......but we like Brad's stuff the best. You can't go wrong with any of CRT's tools and accessories....very good stuff.

Re: Deburring Flashholes?
Can't vouch for Brad's FHDeburrer - tried to get hold of one but the supplier never bothered calling back (Australia). However, found KM tool from another OZ supplier and found it very easy to use.
As others have said, zeroes on the web and not case mouth, so deburrs and uniforms!!

I apologize for our Australian Distributor failing to return your call. We take our customer service very serious, I will make sure to discuss this with the distributor so that we don't have the same probably again.

Re: Deburring Flashholes?
No worries Brad.
Guess I could've got one direct from you.
I'm annoyed about not being able to get your projectiles
Stupid laws. Nothing dangerous about a bit of copper and lead without explosives near it.

Re: Deburring Flashholes?
I completely understand your frustration about not being able to import the projectiles. I am not happy with the import laws either. Let me know if you decide to take me up on my offer for the flash hole debur tool.
