Not sure. But, if I were to test it, I'd be standing in the bed of my pickup.

Somewhere on one of the forums...maybe this one, there's a post by a fellow who dropped a 95 pound wolf with a .204. Not the same as a hog, but still impressive.

Not just Poachers, but farmers, ranchers,Inuits(along with the 222 Rem). You must put that little pill into the right spot, but it will kill. There are better choices, however for the average marksman. Bill K

G'day,I regularly hunt a property for small game with my 204 but have encountered pigs a few times,each time a well placed shot has dropped them in there tracks using 32 grain ballistic tips.admittedly they were not 100 kg boars but sows around 40-60kg.that said the tally still reads four from four. Obviously not the hog hunting calibre of choice, but I have faith in it's abilities

I saw a few killed with a 17 hmr very close range in the ear.
I hunted with a friend who shot a hog with a .243 the next day got a call
from the vineyard manager asking if we killed a hog and where then he asked why we left it when we replied we didn't leave it he said its still there. sure enough there was a hog there must have penciled the first one and killed the one behind it too

Wow ryutzy I wouldn't exactly call a 60 kg pig a piglet lol ,wouldnt really want it to charge me anyway lol.where I live boars of over 120kg are pretty rare, too many doggers, shooters and poison baits for there to be many that live long enough to get that big

Nice video mate. Would never have thought an air rifle would take down a pig, I have shot a couple with my marlin 22 magnum...and was surprised it took them down on the spot... But an air rifle is a whole new level, well done

I just found out that I am moving to Georgia at the end of the year. I decided to treat myself to an AR for hog hunting. Picked one up in .30 Rem AR (new cartridge). I like newish cartridges, which is why I went with the .204r instead of a .223 like all my buddies.

I was forced into it, trust me. I wouldn't have ever thought I would move to Georgia. I am 100% happy with living in Colorado. My wife decided to apply for a contract job with the Army... and then got hired. One thing I learned about my time in the military is that they send you where they want you, NOT where you want go.

I am going to embrace the Southern lifestyle while I am there though. Instead of slaying pDogs I am going to hunt feral hogs and groundhogs! The .204 will stay busy for sure.

If your going to Ft Stewart... in GA... then you'll be in hog heaven. I've been there when I had to stop myself from shooting more... Great place for all kinds of hunting....
