FS Custom M700 .243 Ackley Imp w/Leupold (Pics) SPF

Post by Rick in Oregon »

I'm selling one of my long range PD rifles, built by Darrell Holland to fund another project. This rifle was built with the "all the way" attitude for the indended purpose. It does it very, very well, and is in perfect condition inside and out in every regard. It's a dream to shoot, almost no recoil at all, you can see all your hits/misses easily through the scope. When the wind blows, or when the rats or chucks are waaay out there, THIS is the rifle. ;)

SOLD PENDING FUNDS 7/24

* Blueprinted M700 blue action

Not a bad deal at all....hmmmmmm 10 twist....could even drive a 95 grain Berger for deer at great velocity! What's the total weight of the rifle as currently set up?
It's hard to detect good luck, It looks so much like something you've worked hard for and earned.

ryutzy: It's on the high side of 11lbs. set up the way you see it in the pics. I've also got some Barnes TTSX's in various weights I could toss in too.......

Nice, I really can't/shouldnt right now. I just dropped a wad a greenbacks on a custom 6MM AI with a Nightforce 8-32-50 scope. (identical to Richard Franklins 6MM if you are familiar with his setup) Gun should be here by end of Sept. My next project I want to set up a 6MM AI to use for Mule deer etc and your .243 AI interests me but timing is wrong. :(
