For the first time with my .204, I've switched from a Bull bag to a Harris bipod at the range and like it much better. But I'm still using a tapered Protektor rear bag and the rear rifle swivel sits smack dab in the middle of the bag - it is not rock steady this way. I'm thinking of switching to either the rabbit or bunny ear type in either the 13/14 or 13A/14A Protektor rear bag.
Just wondering what others use at the range with their 6"- 9" bipod? Thanks.
Which rear bag for bench shooting.

Re: Which rear bag for bench shooting.
TP: After years of dinking about, I settled on the Protektor No. 13B for all my bench needs. I only use a bipod in the field, and a Sinclair front rest off the bench, but the height is about the same for the forend off the bench (rest vs. bipod).

On all rifles shot from the bench, I remove the sling QD studs, as they'll tear up a nice bag pronto. It only takes a minute to reinstall them when needed.
