I have both, and use the RCBS Chargemaster almost all the time. There's no doubt the Harrell's measures are first rate quality, and many on the board here will swear by them. For my loading I just find the electronic scale and dispenser more convenient and gets the results I require. I'm sure a bunch of folks will weigh in here shortly.....good luck with your search!

I use an Acculab 123 electronic scale. Accurate to 0.02 grain. Overkill? Maybe. But, now you know for sure.

For a large portion of the reloading I do, directly from the Dillon powder measurer or dump from the RCBS/Hornady/or Harrell. Really depends on the powder.

I have the RCBS 1500 Charge master. Have been using for almost 5 yrs now. Originally, I was checking against my hornady balance beam scale. I found the chargemaster unit is more than accurate enough for my type of loading/shooting. It is supposed to be accurate within + or - .2 grain. most balance beam scales make the same claim. My main type of shooting is at skippy, and large volumes of shooting in a day, Thus loading large volumes of ammo. I think you will be very happy with the RCBS unit :D
