This section seems to be a bit slow this time of year. Here are a couple of pictures of my first ever bull elk. I was blessed to take this beautiful bull on public land with an over the counter tag here in Utah in 2009. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience. 100% DIY the hard way. The 165 gr Accubond did the job from my trusty 30-06. One shot from 45 yards. He was in his bed and didn't even know what hit him. Enjoy the pictures:
