One + for the 243AI over the 6mmAI is the availability of premium brass. With the 6mm you're limited to Winchester or Remington unless you want to do necking up and/or necking down. The 243 has Lapua, Norma and Nosler brass available. True, the 6mm has little more horsepower over the 243.
