Tumbler

Looks like there are a lot of options in tumblers out there. So who makes the best?

The big Dillon. Buy it once......and be done with it. Honest....I have three others. The BIG Dillon is the best. Capacity, agitation, etc....does a GOOD job.

Thanks guys

Do I want/need a media separator too?

I don't need a ton of capacity for either. Would be nice to have a built in timer control so I could set and walk away.

Seperator is nice, not really required. I thought I would never need a big tumbler either but after using and over stuffed little one and making a mess of a lot of brass.....the big one it is! More media, faster operation, more capacity. Only way to fly!

Next up how big are these machines?

The Dillon 750 specs at 12" diameter and 12" tall. This is a pretty niuce size. The Dillon 2001 has no size spec on their site. Haven't looked for Lyman specs yet.

My lyman is bigger than that. It uses somewhere over 7 pounds of corncob media or 8 to 9 pounds of walnut which I use now.
