I've got Verison FIOS and I get the notifications but don't want them! How do you shut them off?? Gary

Ok, doing this from memory cuz I'm not smart enough to be able to surf back and forth.
Click "user control panel" at top right of page.
Click "Board Preferences" on left side of page
Click " Edit posting defaults" in drop down menu. You should now have four choices. The fourth is Notify me.......yada yada.
Switch that from Yes to No and click submit. Should do the trick.

jo191145, Thanks for the info but....... I checked that you said and my "notify me" was set to "no" but I do get notifications (sometimes). I'll just assume that the ghost of Skippy is roaming around in the system and it's payback! Gary
