I posted this in another thread and felt bad by putting a question that might hi-jack the thread. So I copied it and pasted it here w/ it own topic.
Not being a varmint hunter, just a predator hunter.....why do Coopers only make single shots?
I know someone will say, if you own a Cooper you will only need one shot.
I just flat out like the looks of them and could have already had one but I like more rounds ready to go, than just one.

Re: Coopers
Stiffer receiver (platform) and easier to load.
Hard to get a repeater to feed some calibers, length of bullets (OAL), etc.

Re: Coopers
Some say that the stiffer receiver makes for better accuracy. I haven't shot this yet but I expect her to be a shooter. I'll get a scope on her soon and will be out in the field in a few months.

Re: Coopers
That right there would be the look, that I like or the Phoenix. Is the barrel bead blasted? If not or is, hows the glare? BCB put a reply to the question on the other thread and they do make a repeater, a 54. I sent them an email on it this morning. Your look of gun is what I asked about with the email and repeater in a 204, 20 Tac or a 17 Tac. Just to see if they would do any of the options.Captqc wrote:

Re: Coopers
The Cooper varmint barrels are bead-blasted stainless; no glare.

Re: Coopers
Well, I got an emaiil back on what I would be interested in, a repeater in a 204, 20 Tac, or 17 Tac. She told me that it can't happen. They don't offer the repeaters in what I am after.
