There is a heck of a good one posted right below yours. A lot depends on the ammount of money you want to spend. Then decide what reticle you prefer. My old eyes insist on pretty good glass and I'm picky about reticles. The glass is good on Burris Sig., Bushnell Elite, Nikon Monarch and others in the $400-600 range. Personally I prefer the Leupold. Awesome glass, great reticles, and unsurpassed warranty and customer service.

Thought about a 6-18 Leupold with turrets? One of my favorite mid priced scopes.

My favorite on my .204 AR is my Sightron S-II in a 4-16x 42mm Mil-Dot... I've found that it has very little distortion at max power for Prairie Dogs on a hot day, has excellent glass for clarity and light gathering... The mil-dots give an excellent reference for fast holdovers and windage..The 4x setting still gives me a wide enough field of view for active targets..

Most scopes over 18x are subject to some form of Heat Mirage distortion...The customer service at Sightron is excellent... When I first got mine, I had no experience with the Mid-Dot reticle and called them... They not only gave me a verbal basic run down, but sent me a three page explanation in the mail..
