I've got it sighted-in at 200 yards, with the 270 gr Hornady SP at about 2700 fps. Good bit of oomph there, generating about 4370 ft-lbs of energy. No wonder it smacks the gong harder than my .308 or .30-06 rifles...

Along with a couple of other rifles, I took the .375 H&H Ruger Number One out to the range for a little practice today. Sitting and standing at 300 yards. Dang it was nice when the first shot from standing smacked that 300 yard gong silly! I've got it sighted-in at 200 yards, with the 270 gr Hornady SP at about 2700 fps.
