Now that's what I call total "fragmentation" with a 39 gr BK. Awesome

Jesus man!!!!!
I wish my smith would get my handloads done! I am using the .22 Hornet for hogs right now and I can't get anything remotely close to that carnage! As a matter of fact...The bullets won't even exit!
Nice shooting buddy and keep it up!

You will find that most shots with the 204 on groundhogs dont exit either.

What I meant by exit is "Explode"!!!!!Inrut24/7 wrote:You will find that most shots with the 204 on groundhogs dont exit either.
I get entry than jello! I can't even find the entrance wound with the .22 Hornet. Don't get me wrong...it's killing them deader than a door nail BUT I am lacking the carnage!

Wow, that is one serious mess!!!
That is why I love this forum, I just got in trouble on another forum for "graphic" photos. Would like to see their reaction to that photo.

Re: since you like carnage
I am starting to get more respect for this round the more I use it. The first few I ground hogs I shot with it left minimal carnage. I ahve found that was just where the bullet went and not due to poor performance. The last one I hit was at about 90 - 100 yards. I hit him square between the shoulders stadning facing me. The hole was the distance between the front sholders. You could drop a tennis ball in it. NICE!!!
Inrut 24/7 you said you were not a very good shot off hand. Thats not bad you hit him twice. Off course you may have shot at him 10 times but I doubt it. Nice shootin.

Re: since you like carnage
Yeah, this site is totally opposite compared to most others in regards to photos. Over here it's "more the better". That's why I love it over here, plus everyone is quite pleasant and friendly. You never really see any "moral judgements" or "bashing" of someone elses opinion. It's a site chock-full of valuable info with a camraderie not really seen elsewhere.surfclod wrote:Wow, that is one serious mess!!!
