Don't know the person, but would like to see a picture of the rifle.

acloco--Sounds and looks like a fairly nice rifle and I'd be making a run to purchase it IF it had a 1 in 11" twist barrel and IF the seller would remove one of the zeros from the asking price

Re: Your next 204?
I have not figured out where all the money is tied up in this one.
Say... grand for the stock, 1500 for the action, 800 for the barrel...........
Has "6500 invested"...that is a LOT for this rifle.

Re: Your next 204?
Beautiful rifle, but I'll be shocked if he gets anywhere close to his asking price of $4,700. Like many others here, I simply don't see that much value in this gun. I'm also pretty underwhelmed with the comment about this rifle being designed to shoot 1/2" groups at 100 yards with factory ammo. Who is going to build a "$6,500" custom rifle and then shoot factory ammo? Who's going to be happy with a full-on custom that only shoots 1/2" groups? I know that you could hand load and get significantly better results, but that's not the way that the gun is being advertised. Very perplexing to me. If I even dreamed of getting that kind of asking price, I would most certainly have some test targets pictured and they all better show one-hole groups at 100 yards.

Nice looking rifle but I would get 2 Cooper rifles for that price. One hole groups, target comes with the gun. The load used to get it will be on the target.
Please, no Sidewinder today!

Ha, ha. I noticed that as well! I would seriously like to know how he spent $6,500 on that stick, though.Bergcrane2 wrote:Mike, he's from the Bronx. That explains it all! LOL!
