Anybody have any good ideas on loads for the 34 gr Dogtown HP bullets? I just picked up 500 and can't seem to find any data on any of the "powder" websites or manuals. I started with the data for a 35 grain Berger, but someone on another forum said that would be too hot and to downsize the minimum load by 10%. This seems like a very light load if the published starting point was 28 grains. Dropping down to 25.2 seems light.
Any thoughts?

Re: Dogtown Loads?
Welcome to the forum. I use 26.6gr of Benchmark with the 34gr Dogtowns. It's the same load I use for the 35gr Bergers at about 3520fps out of my 22 inch barrel. A 26 inch barrel will up the speed to about 3850fps.

Re: Dogtown Loads?
Welcome. I've loaded 26.1 grns of H322 and 28 grns of 4895 with good results with the Dogtowns. Anyhow for cheap bullets you can get them to shoot under an inch consistently and sometimes they will group around 1/2". Dave
Re: Dogtown Loads?
Use data for the 35 Bergs.
Dropping down to far can be more dangerous than going above max book data.
