40 gr Berger
I'm working up several different loads, but I don't have any data on the 40 Bergers.....Looking for a little load advice. I have either Varget or Benchmark to choose from. CCI mag and Fed mag primers. Will shoot either Hornady or Rem brass. Shooting a Howa with 24" BBL. Need a good starting point. I emailed Berger, but haven't heard anything back yet.

Re: 40 gr Berger
Tested some loads the other day and the Berger 40gr. Varmint BT in Winchester (fully prepped and neck turned cases) brass using 25.1grs. of RL-10X with Remington 7 1/2 benchrest primer O.A.L. 2.256" shot into 3/8" 5 shot groups out of my Savage VLP. Give it a try.
