Ultra lite stock replacement.
I had it in mind to replace my stock on my 77 ultra light all weather with an MPI stock . However as such well made plans seem to disinigrate when the wife finds out about the cost I had to make adjustments. Now I am wondering if the Ruger compact laminate stock will fit my 204 ultra lite ruger. If they make the compact in 223 will that stock fit my 204? Is it possible to buy one of the compact stocks from Ruger?

yes. yes. and yes........ But the lam weighs more than the plastic. And the compact stock has a shorter length of pull. And you may have to fiddle with the barrel channel.........
