Glenn, that is a big blacktail buck. I can bet you shot that in southern Oregon.I have seen some huge bucks that were shot east of Medford that migrate down each fall from the mountains. I hunted blacktail deer for 20 years and never killed one over about 150 field dressed.

This buck was shot in the Olympic mountains in Washington state.

The goats are a kick. I backpack in the Cascades - and they'll come into camp from time to time. Very curious creatures. I keep putting in for a goat tag, but am not sure I really want to shoot one... Chances of actually getting the tag are slim - but who knows?
