Hey Guys! Merry X-mas!!!!! My fiance and I went and got our wedding bands yesterday and LOOK what else came home with us. I finally got my piece of art!!!!!! Wood is beautiful, no knicks, brand new. They are fired from a distance of 56 yards in Cooper's underground shooting range using a 36X target scope.....

Congratulations Danny....purty dang nice rifle you got there. For guys like all of us, there's really nothing quite like the joy of a new rifle at this, or any time of year to really pump you up. The 223AI is also one of my favorite rat rounds; you'll like it too, I'm certain.

That rifle will shoot the 50gr BT's at the same speed a .223 Remmy will shoot the 40's, right around 3,600 fps with no pressure worries, and is much better in the field past 300 yards in the wind. Very cool.....let us know how she shoots (or how good she shoots!).

I went to Whittaker's Gun Shop today, he stocks Coopers, and had about 75 in the racks, in various chamberings, etc. LOTS OF MONEY IN INVENTORY. I didn't dwell on them, mostly just glanced as I walked by. I hope Darrell doesn't get stuck too bad on them, hardly anyone was looking at them at all, and the place was so packed, we had to park across the road in a roadhouse parking lot.
I saw a LOT of neat stuff there, and it was all I could do not to buy something I didn't need , but sensory overload got me, and I couldn't decide on what to buy, so I got nuthin'. It's hard when the inventory is 6000 large................
