Re: Case trimmers
Thanks for the replies. I found that if I remove the cutter head and pilot, I can leave the cam and cam follower on and trim cases.

I got rid of my Hornady trimmer and got a Forster, I have never been sorry.....Easy to use and dead nuts accurate.

Re: Case trimmers
I have a Forster and I like it. I'm using it today. If you want to power it without buying the power adapter all you have to do is unscrew the handle and screw on two 5/16 fine threaded nuts. A half inch nut driver in your cordless and your set. Alot faster than turning the crank by hand

Re: Case trimmers
I have a RCBS TrimPro power case trimmer and, yes, you can do 17s & 20s on it. I love the thing. It's consistent and performs very well.
Re: Case trimmers
Just wondering what about the Hornady you did'nt like. Out of two RCBS and one Forester the Hornady is the one I count on when I want to get it right,Varmintcaller wrote:I got rid of my Hornady trimmer and got a Forster, I have never been sorry.....Easy to use and dead nuts accurate.
