Happy Thanksgiving

Post by skipper »

To all the members of the 204um, Happy Thanksgiving. Take some time today to enjoy friends and family. Take in a parade and feast on a Thanksgiving meal. The simple pleasures are what life is all about. Give thanks to God, he is good.

we will be enjoying family and friends today and after giving thanks for our many blessings I may even have time to do some deer hunting with the 12 year old grandson. this is his first year hunting and on the opening weekend he saw three different bucks (the only deer he saw)
we have an earn a buck law meaning you have to shoot an antlerless deer before you can shoot anything with horns. I took a doe on monday with the revolver so now he can shoot any deer that walks by him.
hope everyone has a safe travel to and from family gatherings. god bless and give thanks your feet hit the floor this morning.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of my friends on the forum! This year is a little tough on my family as my mother-in-law passed away on Sunday. Still the family will get together in a few hours and as the Good Book says "Give thanks in all things". We are truely blessed. Gary

We went to Iowa and got together with family members. Took my brother-in-laws new Harley out for a ride. 36 degrees-kind of a chilly ride. Anyhow we laughed, talked, stuffed ourselves and had a good time. Got home tonight and was watching CNN Heroes. I noticed a lot of their nominees shared a common thread-a deep religious conviction. If all the people in the world shared such convictions or standards we wouldn't have the problems we have today. Just my 2 cents worth.
Anyhow my prayer is-Oh PULLEESE let me do better on next years postal shoot :)
Happy Holidays

Happy Thanksgiving. A little hunting,a little football, and LOTS of food. Almost forgot about the two little puppies plus one 90lb puppy running through the house  .
