been off the forum for a while so just seen your post on howa. i own a howa 1500 in 204 ruger. been shootin it for over a year now. i love my howa, but i did put a timney trigger in it before i even fired a round, based on my experience with a weatherby vangard. basically same rifle. i shoot mailnly 32 gr. vmaxes. my load of choice will do less than a 1/2 if i do my part. also been doin a load development with sierra 39 gr. blitz kings. already have 2 groups and with loads that are within .4 grs of each other, that are around 3/8 to 1/2. if you like the howa's, i'd say buy it and the prices are better, at least here in Kalifornia, than most other makes. i think the gun will do its part if you do yours, jmho
