I can only help from the standpoint that I own 2 RB triggers in 2 Marlins & think they are well worth the $$ spent.

Here's a link for some Savage triggers. I think Rifle Basix also makes a couple nice triggers.

I use the Rifle Basix II on all my Savages except for my 6 ounce Target Accu trigger which I'm not too fond of and will change eventually.

The RB II's are a pretty good trigger. Theyr'e not Jewels or anything but they are a definate improvement over the accu trigger. You'll be grinning ear to ear the first time you use it.

My three RB's all break at 7 ounces. This seems to be the spot where they function flawlessly.
They're listed as going down to 4 ounces and that might be possible if you like closing the bolt like a teenager sneaking in at night. I settle for 7 and no tripped sears.

FWIW I had to file a little chamfer on the inside of each trigger body to fit them to my actions.
I personally don't mind this as it creates a nice tight fit. Who wants a sloppy custom trigger?
