It's not 204 related. But we're working on that one!!
My Wife has accompanied me on my evening groundhog hunts for the last 15 years. She likes to set out & read in the shade in the evening. Last fall she got her hunting liscense with a 92% on her HS test. She went turkey hunting with me one AM this spring too. But today she finally lit the fuse on what I hope is a long journey thru the hunting world with me by her side. She made her 1st kill this evening!! It was a young groundhog about 60yds out in front of the truck. She used my Marlin HMR with the 17gr V-Max & made a nice head shot. I was watching another field & when I came back to the truck I could see she had slid out of the truck & was holding the rifle. The little bean eatin piggy ran into the woods so I was able to approach & helped talk her thru the shot. She's a natural!!
Way to go Baby!!

Congratulations, it's nice when the wife gets involved. At least until she starts out shooting you. They make cammo in pink now days. That might help keep her interest.
I got my wife and daughters to go dove hunting with me a cuple of years ago but they wouldn't/didn't shoot any birds. They will go fishing!!!
Do everything you can to make her hunting experiences fun and enjoyable. My wife is planning on going squirrel and deer hunting with me this fall and I don't care if she does out shoot me, it will be worth it to have her along with me doing the thing I enjoy most. And I'll let her claim ownership on any gun I have, I'll just go out and get another one.
Enjoy it while you have it, because things will change.
