34 gr Dogtown + meplat uniformer = ??? Anybody

Post by acloco »

I am itching to make a meplat uniformer to narrow the gaping hollow point, raise the BC, and help these bullets reach further out.

Yes, I realize this kind of lets the cat out of the bag on something like this (I could manufacture and market my own...but where is the FUN in that??)....

Anybody tried this with these bullets yet?

Heck no never even considered it

You could try a seating plug from a .17 cal. That might work and suffice as a meplat die for preliminary testing.
If it did it probably wouldn't last long ;)
Just a thought. Good luck
