Dewey brushes are good too? Done.
What about their bore guide, should I just get a Lucas?
Patches, what size for a .204, they do not have it listed, 3/4 and 1 3/8 are my options.

piper: Lucas absolute best of the best, Sinclair very good, usually in stock, and they ship to Canada no worries.

Whatever brushes you get, make sure they have brass core, no steel. Dewey and Pro-Shot brushes both very good. Only use a nylon brush or patches with copper solvent such as Sweets 7.62 or Barnes CR-10.

Rod: I prefer Dewey.

Jags: Use spear-point sized to caliber and 1-1/8 square cotten patches for the .204R (Pro-Shot is good).

Thanks rick, I have been waiting for you.
They do not have a nylon brush for the .204, Dewey I mean.
Are you saying no bronze?

piper: The strong amonia copper removers will literally eat a bronze brush, so nylon brushes and patches for that stuff. The regular solvents for carbon like Shooters Choice, Butches, Hoppes etc, are okay with bronze brushes.

Check out the Pro-Shot line of brushes and jags, as they fit the Dewey rods, are available in .204, and can usually be found easier than the Dewey rod accessories.

Well, the Dewey stuff is on it's way and Mike Lucas will be making my Bore guide and shipping it in a week or two.
I must say of all the sports/hobbies I participate in the people in this sport hold nothing back when it comes to offering help. Mike Lucas was great to deal with, as was Brian Dewey.
I am glad I stopped in here for help, otherwise things could have worked out very differently.
Thanks for the guidance!
