Sig 970 25-06
I've been on the sig web page loking for info on setting the trigger a little lighter. But can't fine any thing on it. Any one here have this gun and was able to lower the trigger pull at all? I did get this one from 5 1/2 lbs down to 4 1/2 lbs but that was all. I'd like to get it down to about 2lbs if i can. Thanks for any help any one can give me. Lee

Lee, I had one but gave it to my son. I didn't try to adjust the trigger but I'll ask him if he's tried. Gary

Lee, I checked with the kid and he has not tried to adjust the trigger. The manual basically says not to mess with it and all of the searches I've done have come up empty. Sorry Gary

Lee, with a little more checking I found where someone got the trigger down to 3 lbs but they didn't describe how they managed to do it. I guess the best route would be to take it to a gunsmith and have a "professional" mess with it. Good Luck, Gary
