Millet Scopes

Post by Ryan S Albright »

I received a Millet scope as a gift it is a 5x25x56AO 30mm tube this thing is huge it weighs 30 onces I just ordered extra high rings for my Ruger Target gray. Any body have experience with such a large scope? It makes my Simons 6x20x50AO look sleek.

Yes, keep it on low recoil calibers!

I run 6-24x56 on several of my varmint rings with GOOD rings.

Yes, you can step up to the $100 to $200 set of rings to keep the scope attached, but you are transferring all of the recoil energy to the internals of the scope.
