Can a Savage shoot? Answer within....

Bought the rifle used, with 6 rounds fired through it.

Particulars:
Savage 112 single shot action (NOT the new target action)
Factory blackened stainless barrel
Leupold FX12x40 with fine cross hairs
180 gr Nosler solid base BT boat tail
71.5 grains of H4831
CCI250 primers
Federal cases (partial FL sized)

Wind was a measured 15-23 mph out of the north/north west, we were shooting due south

11" six shot group with one X.

That is some fine shooting acloco! It never surprises me to see a Savage shoot well, and you proved it again. I have an old 112 Target in 220 Swift that has done in many a prairie dog over the years.
