I am wanting to try loading with RL 10X since on the favorite loads page alot of guys seam to like it. But I can not find any info on it for min and max loads with different bullets. I see what guys like as there favorite, but what would be the min and max. I can not find any info for this powder and the 204 on the web. I am wanting to do 32 and 40 grain Vmax, some 39 grain BK and some 40 grain Berger's. Any help on this or links to some info would be great.
Thanks, Jason
RL 10X loads
Re: RL 10X loads
Would this same data work for the other bullets ok or should I trim back the loads for the 40 grain Berger's and Hornady's?

Re: RL 10X loads
I started with the 21.6 grains of 10x with the 40 grainers and worked up to a load I was satisfied with while watching for the usual signs of excess pressure. I never found a 40 V-Max load my XR-100 liked (at least to my liking).Hotburn76 wrote:Would this same data work for the other bullets ok or should I trim back the loads for the 40 grain Berger's and Hornady's?

Re: RL 10X loads
Hotburn , Definately try it with the Sierra 39 gr BK , its very accurate in my bbl and alot of guys have reported the same . . I'm pretty sure Todd Kindler , the 20 cal guru picked it as one of the best powders for the 204 as far as the velocitys he was able to obtain with it . Alot of guys load right up to the max of 25.1 but I showed hi pressure in my contender bbl. before that and settled on 24.5 with Rem 7 1/2 primers . Good luck !!
