Need Help with AR Scope Problem

Post by Vartarg »

I've bought a DPMS flattop w/ 24" fluted bull barrel in .204 Ruger. I got a Wilson "lo mount" for mounting the scope, which is a Leupold VXII 6X18. It appears that the line of sight of the scope is so much higher than the bore, that there's not enough vertical adjustment in the scope? What am I missing? I appreciate any suggetions you can offer, or perhaps you can point me in the right direction. Thanks, George

Easy fix...IF you are using Burris Signature rings. Use the 10 or 20 MOA inserts to move the rear of the scope UP and the front DOWN.

I thought that might be where I have to go....I've used them on my Wby Predator Master in .243......I wanted to know if I was missing something else important. Thanks.
