I wish nights like this were more frequent!!! All shot with 32gr hornady v-max factory ammo.
The first of the night, Came running in like an idiot !!!
Second. Came running in to about 60yds but wouldnt stay still. He ran off up the hedge line and then crossed into the next field. We could see his eyes in the lamplight just above the hedge but I couldnt see his body off the sticks, so we had to walk back about 10-15yds to see him through a gateway. There he was sitting in a picture perfect pose ( or should that be sight picture pose!!! )
This one came in with the second but ran off once he heard the gun. Ended up 215yds away just looking occasionally as we squeeked him. I could only see his eyes in the light. I knew I'd hit him because it made that ever so familiar sound A personal best for a fox and also under the lamp.

Nice shooting adam.There`s so many nights when things dont go as planned,it makes it feel even better when things do go right.Just make sure you leave some foxes for the rest of us.
