Re: DOJ & the Second Amendment
The deeply entrenched bureaucrats in Washington, including and not limited to, Department of Justice, are mostly "of the other party", and don't plan to let anything get in their way of ruining things for the hardworking taxpayers of this country, to include watering down something they have no business being involved in, since they didn't bring the suit (Heller v.DC).
That's why the Democrats raised so much Cain over the Gonzalez dismissal of those lawyers, they were "their friends and colleagues". Bluntly put, if we don't get rid of the bureaucrats and ALL of the long-time politicians in the Beltway, and replace them with part-time politicians and plain old citizens, we'll never get any headway towards a free country.
I wish we could bulldoze the place and start over.

Re: DOJ & the Second Amendment
I know how you feel glenn but if you think it's bad now. What do you think whats going to go on when she is the new president? And i sure don't see the politicans voteing for a four year term. With all the money they make under the table. It's like one retired guy said the other day. He just got a $28.00 doller pay hike on his ss check. But the politicians gave them selfs a $4000.00 doller year'ly hike. It's never going to stop untell the people stand up in this country and do some thing about it. And i don't see that comeing any time soon.
