I wonder what twist the 204 comes in and if they are legal to hunt with in Canada (probably not)

I wonder how accurate they will be. I spoke to a guy who has a Les Baer SVT in .204. He is a competition bench rest shooter and said it sometimes outshoots his 6ppc. You can tack on another 1000 bucks over the Remington for the Les Baer though

That a good price for a complete upper! If you can afford it, the Les Baer would be nice. Anything with a 1/2 moa GUARANTEE would be NICE!!!

I don't own a .204 yet. I was going to buy a Sako (still might) but may dad is going to give me his Remington .222 bolt action. So now I think I want to consider a Les Baer since I'll have a nice bolt varmint gun already.

Hey I've been looking through the "black rifle" stuff. Once you get into them are they as addicting as they appear? The last one I shot (about 9 years ago) belonged to my Uncle Sam and I was not allowed to do any mods on it. I see tons of cool stuff you can bolt on to them...

You are right Waldo one leads to another and pretty soon you have 3 or 4 with various tricks on them. Took me 5 years to get over it and back on track with my bolt rifles. I will always have fond memories and a big soft spot for the Homeland Defence Rifles. Wouldn't pass up a chance on one in 204 right now.

I think I've said it before, but since Waldo asked that gives me the chance to say it again!
I like to shoot. And I shoot a lot. I'm 34 yrs old. I bought my HDR in 204 almost 1 year ago. In that year I am very close to shooting as many rounds through it as I have with all my other guns combined! And I have a few guns!
To say they are a little addictive, to me, would be a gross understatement.
Waldo if you have the means, I would highly suggest you get 1 or SEVERAL. And I havent even dipped a toe into the pool of aftermarket add-ons yet. It is expensive enough just trying to keep the thing fed. It's funny, nowadays if I don't have 300 rnds of 204 on my shelf I feel like I'm slacking in the reloading dept.
And that's not even considering the real or perceived need to pick up a couple lowers before the next Clintonista Regime.

AS far as the clintonistas go (I won't dignify them with capital letters), I'm working on paying off all my bills, so if the wicked witch of the east DOES get elected  , I can run out and buy some stuff and if need be, put it on the plastic. Hopefully, it won't come to that, but I'll be ready if it does........ I think I'd rather put my money into handguns, though, more 1911s are always welcome here, revolvers, too.

HDRs are VERY addicting. I would have a whole bunch but I don't have the funds for it  I could tell you all of the combinations I want, but that would take too many pages.

AR's are not addictive.....

They're actually necessary to sustain life itself.... And the more of them you have, the longer you'll likely live....

here is a review of another ER Shaw product. for $500 bucks it doesn't get any better than that IMO
