I have a Pacnor 1x11 twist 3-land 3-groove barrel on a Savage action, it shoots all the 40gr bullets just fine. I'm planning on another Pacnor and I'm wondering about getting a 1x10 twist this time, again mainly for 40gr bullets. What do you think?

If it ain't broke don't fix it. 
However, I bet that 1:10 would spin up the 50 Berger.

Might consider a 9 twist for 50's, otherwise Waldo is right on. I vote don't fix it.
