Considering replacing my current tube with a pac-nor. I see they only offer .204 in a three grove. Anyone shooting .204 pac-nor? feed back would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance, Wade

Re: 3 grove pac-nor
I have experience with them and a PacNor 3 groove barrel in 17 or 20 caliber will be one of the best investments you can make barrel-wise..
They clean up extremely well and they will be very accurate...

Re: 3 grove pac-nor
wade: I've got 4 Pac-Nor barrels, both sporter and varmint weight, and recommend both Chris, the owner, and their barrels highly in all respects.
None of mine are three groove, but I've heard only positive comments from other users about that type of rifling from Pac-Nor.

Re: 3 grove pac-nor
I don't have a 3-groove .204 caliber barrel, but do have a .17 Remington 3-groove super match grade 1 in 9" twist Pac-Nor barrel. It is super accurate and quite easy to clean. I would not hesitate to put a 3-groove .204 caliber Pac-Nor barrel on my Savage 12VLP when the time comes to rebarrel.

I have there Polygonal .204 barrel on my 20-250imp #1. It's the best shooter of the four .204 bores I have and thats saying a lot cause the worst is the Rem.VLS and it does .440 with factory ammo.
You might look into the polys they will suprise you.
