I am looking into adding a Green Mountain barrel onto my all weather 77/22. After looking at what is available, I realized that Green Mountain no longer makes the .920 bull barrel for the 22LR. They only offer the fluted sporting contour. Now I'm not sure this is a bad thing because I don't really want to have to mod my stock a whole lot to get the new barrel to fit. The lady I talked to from GM wasn't real sure how this affected the consistency from shot to shot but she said the bull barrel may have an advantage. Can anyone else out there shed some light on this for me? Thanks
Jeff
