It looks right, seems to be priced right, but being so late to the party, I wonder how it'll do in the marketplace. Kimber has been doing it right now for over 15 years, add in Wilson Combat, Les Baer, Ed Brown and some of the others, and you can see that Ruger has it's work cut out for them.
Now if they can just get away from the "Ruger-Lawyer" trigger, they might have a decent 1911 in the offing......guess we'll see.

Shoots good. POA at 10 yds. Only missed a 6 inch gong a couple times, all on seconds of double taps. Shot clays the same. The trigger is not the typical heavy ruger trademark, but a sweet maybe 4 pound affair with a short reset. 50 rds of ball and 8 of winchester rangers without a hiccup. Liking it mucho so far. Another 100 of ball tomorrow.....

Don - Glad to hear it appears to be a shooter, and that Ruger may have figured out what a 1911 trigger is all about and have not applied their usual "Litagation-Proof" trigger to what could be a very fine pistol. Yes Loretta, there IS a Santa Claus. 
She sure LOOKS good, and seems to shoot as good as she looks. Keep us posted.
