Hey lads,
This is my first post on this site and i would firstly like to introduce myself, I live in Australia and shoot a tikka T3 super varmint 204. I would also like to add that i greatly appreciate all the work and comments that have been put into this site. Very well done.
Now my question is: Has anyone got a savage model 111 in 25-06 or other caliber? I was thinking it would be a nice long range rifle, for foxes and bigger ferals. The reports ive heard in Australia have been relatively limited thus far and any feed back would be great.
cheers.

I only have Model 12 varmint Savages but I can vouch for the quality and accuracy they provide! You won't go wrong with adding a Savage to your stable of rifles!

I have a 112 in 25-06, good rifle, good caliber, but it uses sooo much powder, that I don't shoot it too much. I shoot a vmax (I think 75 gr. is the only 25 cal. Hornady has in the Vmax line-up)bullet over a pile of Varget powder. Seems to buck the wind a little better than my other options.
Take a kid to the range, both of you will be glad you did. remy3424
