My Predator made it back today with all issues resolved. I also was sent 2 100 yard targets that they tested. one was 1.2 and the was .6 with 5 shot groups.
I am happy now.

Thanks for sharing and glad to hear all worked out ok. They tell you what they did? or just send the targets.
Thanks and later

They adjusted the follower and the magazine was adjusted by basically bending the top out. The fourth rounds goes in like a charm now. They also cleaned and then did their test firing. Then finally, they replaced the scope.

They had a list of all they did with the targets. Pretty precisce, I thought. I knew what it all meant  Normally I need pictures :D

It's refreshing to hear about a company that does the right thing and treat a customer well. I think that the shooting industry has better customer relations than most other industries, (definitely had my share of bad service when dealing with electronics).

The detailed list and test targets are a nice touch, now you know they actually did something rather than just look it over and say its fine.

:wall: Your not gonna beleive this. I got the Pred out and was going to bring the scope back in the rings more. I did that and it went fine. I thought I might check to see if everything is snug before I take to Melvins to fine tune it. I went to check the nut that bolts the ring to the base......I didn't put hardly any pressure on it at all and it spun around (stripped). Like I told Melvin, it sure is aggrevating but when it gets done it will be a shooter. Question is when will it become a shooter :?
It will all work out. I have a string of bad luck with the last 3 rifles I bought new. The service I got from Savage so far eases my concern, I know they will take care of it.

Yes there is an update. They, without batting an eye told me they are sending me new rings. I was hoping they would have been here for the weekend. But should get them this week. Then hopefully it will all be done :D
