Having decided on the K1-V-BBZ for the 20VT and 17FB I went ahead and ordered 2 of them in 204 Ruger. I'm going to a local gun show tomorrow to see if I can get my hands on a Walnut/Blue in 223 for the 221FB. My next hurdle is deciding on which Pac-Nor barrels to order for these things (cripes there are a load of choices). All will be 24" barrels, and I am planning on shooting 40 grainers in the 221FB, 30 to 35 grainers in the 20 VT, and 20 to 25 grainers in the 17FB. I spent a little time today building a couple dummy rounds in each (for some added motivation).

I'll be looking for at least 3700 from the 20VT (1:13 twist) with 35's and near 4000ish with 20's out of the 17FB.
