.223 Ammo Question?

Ammo .223 Remington Australian Outback 69 Grain Sierra MatchKing Bullet 2959 fps 20 Rounds. Anyone ever use it, any reviews? Thanks Brian

If that is the only stuff you can find, I would say get it and try it. Also you don't mention type of rifle you are shooting. Those heavier bullets are designed to shoot best out of an A/R, with the faster twists, commonly used in the A/R platform. I know for a fact that my bolt gun, with a 1 in 12 twist, will not accurately shoot these rounds. Also, what is the intended use for this combination?

Thanks for the reply. It is a Windham AR 20" ss 1/8 twist shoot the 75 gr bthp real fine. Never heard of this ammo just inquiring thanks brian

1:9 to stabilize 69 gr bullets.
What headstamp does the brass have? RORG by chance?

Bullet weight isn't what you care about for a twist rate. Bullet LENGTH is. It's all about RPM.

Look up the length and run the calc, give you a nice idea
