No worries there, Bob; looks like great gun porn from here!fishnbob wrote:Sorry my photos aren't as good as RIO's but computers are not my strong suit
Congrats on the new rig, and a MTV to boot.....we're assuming it is indeed a 223, right? That beauty will look right proper on your bench out in the rat patch this summer, and a pet load should be no problem for that baby either. I predict a season-long smile on your face this year!

I didn't see any info your new baby, such as make, model and caliber. Please don't keep us in suspense. You know all of us are a nosey bunch!

Re: help me decide on next varmint caliber
Sorry forgot the details. It is indeed a MTV with fluted barrel, 1 in 9 twist 223. It is alot lighter then what I thought it would be. I went to the gun shop anticipating getting the phoenix but after handling them both the MTV was lighter and I just cant seem to help myself when it comes to the wood stocks.
I am gona try to get to the range tomorrow it is supposed to be 37 degrees but we also have 3 foot of snow on the ground. I should be able to get the 100 yd target set up but dont know if I will make it any farther.
