22 Nosler
Has anyone shot the new 22 Nosler (Rick)? It looks like it could be a real powerhouse for it's size. Wonder if it would have any real advantages over a 22-250 in a bolt rifle??

Re: 22 Nosler
I built one with the 18" Stoner barrel when they were on sale at Midway for $105. It works out ok for me as the rifle is still manageable with a suppressor and spits 50 gr zmax out at 3420 fps. Most of the reviews on accuracy were abysmal but mine is sub moa to at least 200 yards, as far as I've shot. Brass shows ejector marks but holds up to 10+ loadings at the level I'm loading.
In a bolt gun I don't see the point of it. Lot's of good options there, but in an AR I think it has potential. I think a good 24" barrel with a slower twist could see 3600 fps with 50's or maybe more. Not too shabby.

Glad to hear that yours is working out. I have not heard much about this caliber since it was announced.
