Just wondering what you guys thought of your Ventures. Did some searches and most are good reviews.
My son seems to have taken over another one my rifles, this time my CZ 204. So I'm in the market for a carry gun in 223.
Was thinking of getting a Tikka T3 Lite until our local gun shop started running a special. TC Venture for $309 after the rebate. Not sure I can pass this up

Re: TC Venture owners
I have the predator model with the fluted barrel and camo in .204. It consistantly shoots 3/4 inch groups. It has a decent trigger and has been a good gun for tthe money.

Re: TC Venture owners
I just bought one in .204 last week. I tried a mid price scope and got decent groups (under 2" and just learning the rifle and trigger)
I think I can get it under 1.5" at 100 with a little work on the shooters part and trying some different ammo. (used factory 40 grain loads. )

I never owned a cz but my TC Venture 204 gunsmith worked the trigger over for me . I can shoot a 5 shot group at a 100 yds with 39 gr bking I loaded I can cover with a dime. Using a Nikon 6x18x40mm AO dot scope . The gun is my goto calling gun.
Re: TC Venture owners
I have one coming in 243. I'm looking forward to seeing how it shoots.

Re: TC Venture owners
Just got my 243 Venture yesterday. First impressions are good. Seems like a well built solid gun! Action screws and scope base screws were not tight. No big deal as I check that with every new rifle. I put an EGW Picatinny rail on it using blue Loctite. Scope is a Vortex Viper HS 4-16x44mm. This rifle has a tight chamber. Have to use a bit of effort to close the bolt. Nothing bad though. Trigger seems good. Going to adjust it down. Stock is very well made compared to synthetic stocked rifles in this price range like the Savage Axis or the Ruger American. So far so good. Going to hit the range Sunday and see how it does.
