The model 25 Savage in 204 Ruger is plenty accurate. To be honest I purchased one a few years ago and it is probably the most accurate gun out of the box that i have ever owned. The only change i would make to the rifle is a better trigger. I couldn't get the factory accutrigger down to the level i liked so it had to be replaced. Rifle basix makes an excellent replacement trigger for the model 25. We carry the Rifle Basix replacement trigger in stock for anyone that's interested.

the website is: www.customreloadingtools.com and the trigger for the Savage Model 25 runs $84. This trigger gives you the ability to drop the pull weight down to 1 1/4 pounds, that's much less than i was ever able to get the model 25 accutrigger to go. Feel free to give us a call in the office if you prefer, i can offer you free shipping on the trigger. Phone 260-225-4400.
