20 VT closes out 2011......

Post by Keith in Ga »

with some decent groups. Shot groups at 200-500 yds with a slight wind, but more mirage. I shot the first group at 500 and had to drive to the hanger to see where the shots hit (about 5" to the right), marked with a slash. Went back and shot the next group (circled) which was even better. The little Cooper 20 VT definately has potential.

Nice shootin' there, Keith! Looks like that would easily group inside a groundhogs head, even at 500 yards.

Amazing performance from such a small case, eh? In the rat patch, a guy with a 20VT and a 204R would have the rats covered all the way out to as far as you could see the little buggers. Which is exactly what I intend to do in another few months once we're greeted with 'spring green-up'. :D

It's also very cool to have two distinctly different rounds that use the same bullets for both economy and logistics. I'm sold.
