Cooper Help Needed

Post by Vartarg »

I got my Cooper M21 back from Pac-Nor a couple of days ago, and put the barreled action in the stock.....and now I can't get the bolt to go all the way forward into battery. :wall:

It seems to me that the bolt needs to be cocked, so that it clears the safety...but I confess that I don't know how to do it. :duh:

Any help or comments will be appreciated! Thanks.

Yup, you are correct, it needs to be cocked to reinstall. Tough part is doing it without damaging the bolt. Try wrapping a leather belt around it at the lugs then gently hold it with pliers (pliers over belt). Gary
