As an update. I now have both rifles in hand. They sure are beautys.
The Max1 should have the scope mounted tomorrow night. The 12 BTCSS, at this point I am in real no hurry on. Before I get a scope for it, I am getting the stock laser engraved below both sides of the action "MOM" 1944-2010. I think Mom would think that it is WAY cool .
Pretty impressed on both but the 12 thumbhole feels awesome, now I want another

Song Dog that is cool! Please post a pic or two. You have inspired me to name my Ruger No.1 for my dad even though he's still with us (He's 87 and just had a hip replaced). I'm going to call my Ruger "Old Billy". I think that all good rifles should have a name! Now I have to come up with a name from my new Cooper Gary
