North east Colorado, near Sterling or Fleming has many coyotes that prey over the P-Dog fields. 95% of the time driving to a P-Dog field I saw Coyotes. However if you shoot from a rig, you may lose that rig. It's infested. When I quit shooting Squeaks here (June, July) I always go back and hunt my way to Colorado for a month.

I shot P-Dogs all year long. Snowing raining did not matter, you just see less in the cold winter. Most farmers were 100% O.K. with you just asking then shooting P-dogs. You need an out-of-state small game lisc. to shoot, 50$ for a year.

1). The State of Utah has no restrictions for Coyote hunters, (and only coyotes), no out of state lisc. or tag needed. You must leave them lay where they are shot. If you want the pelts you must buy a fur trapper lisc. and pay out of state fees$$$

2). Nevada also has the same, no out of state fees$$$ you must leave them lay also.
